Welcome to SoloSafe By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: SoloSafe is a productivity and reminder utility designed to help you maintain a routine check-in habit.

SoloSafe is NOT a replacement for emergency services (911/112), professional monitoring, or personal safety devices.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The App relies on internet connectivity, server availability, and email delivery systems, which are subject to failure, delays, or outages.
  • We DO NOT guarantee that alerts will be delivered instantly or at all.
  • We DO NOT monitor your real-time location or safety status.
  • You should never rely solely on this App for your personal safety or the safety of others.
  • In the event of a life-threatening emergency, always contact local emergency services immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoloSafe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you strictly disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SoloSafe provides a mechanism for users to schedule daily "check-ins." If a user fails to interact with the App (check-in) within a specified timeframe, the App attempts to send an automated email notification to the contacts pre-configured by the user.

3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF SAFETY, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP; (B) ANY FAILURE OF THE APP TO SEND OR DELIVER NOTIFICATIONS; OR (C) ANY RELIANCE PLACED BY YOU OR YOUR CONTACTS ON THE APP.

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your device has active internet connectivity and that the email addresses provided for your contacts are accurate and up-to-date. You must inform your contacts that you have listed them in the App.

5. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
